These terms are an agreement between you and Mint Ledger (“we”, “us”) for your use of the Mint Ledger service: our mobile apps, our web app and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
Your content
You own the photos, collection records, listings and messages you add (“Your Content”). You give us a limited licence to host, store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending photos you scan to our AI provider for analysis and showing your listings to other users. You confirm you have the right to share Your Content.
Estimates are not appraisals
Identifications, grades and values shown in Mint Ledger are automated estimates based on your photos and third-party market data. They can be wrong and are not professional appraisals, certifications or financial advice. Do not rely on them alone when buying, selling, insuring or reporting taxes. For important decisions, consult a professional grading service or dealer.
The marketplace
- The marketplace connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction, do not hold payments or items, and do not take a commission. Buyers and sellers arrange payment and delivery between themselves.
- Describe items honestly and accurately, including condition, grade and any problems.
- Do not list counterfeit, replica or altered items unless they are clearly described as such, and never stolen goods or items you are not allowed to sell.
- Follow the laws that apply to your sale, including taxes and shipping rules.
- We may remove listings or messages, and limit accounts, that break these terms. Report a problem listing to [email protected].
Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law, infringe others’ rights, or harass, threaten or defraud other users;
- upload content you don’t have the right to share, or malware;
- scrape, overload or try to get around security, plan limits or access controls;
- reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it.
Plans and payments
Mint Ledger has a free plan. When paid plans are available:
- Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their terms. Subscriptions bought on the web are billed by our payment provider.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel in your App Store, Google Play or account settings, and keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google. For web purchases, contact us.
- If you move to a lower plan, features and limits of that plan apply. We won’t delete your existing items, but some may become read-only until you are within the limits.
- We will give you advance notice of price changes.
Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the Service at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of estimates or market data. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, or for transactions between users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
